Note: Raghu Arakshita is the last movie of the first Odia director & eminent producer Nitai Palit. Nitai Palit made the movie under his banner Creative Film Productions. Mr. Palit succumbed to death on 26th July 1990 in heart attack. Since the movie was hypothecated to Odisha Film Development Corporation it took over the film after Mr. Palit's death and completed the project. The movie got censor board certificate on 21 December 1996 and participated in the State Film Awards for the year 1996. Akshaya Mohanty was awarded as Best Playback Singer (Male) and Best Lyricist.
