Note: The film 'Kartabya' marks the final release featuring actor Bijay Mohanty. This movie experienced a three-year production delay. Unfortunately, the lead actor, Satyanjit Purohit, passed away during this period.
The much-awaited first production of Shri Jagannath Movies, 'Kartabya' Odia movie, released on September 1, 2023. Fans will finally have a chance to witness the stirring acting of the late Bijay Mohanty after too long a gap. Bijay Mohanty will be sharing the spotlight with Ashrumochan Mohanty, Jiban Panda, and Ratan Meher, as they take on the movie's lead roles. Audience can look forward to Rupesh's portrayal of a Special Investigating Officer. Late Bijay Mohanty takes the part of a Senior Advocate in the film, while Ashrumochan Mohanty will be playing the role of Head Master. Jiban Panda will also be appearing in the role of 'Sarpanch'. All in all, there's quite a lineup to look forward to in this film.
The film was deftly directed and edited by Manas Ranjan Patra, tying diverse scenes together to develop a unified storyline. The continuous pacing of the movie was maintained, holding the viewer's attention throughout. The soundtrack, composed by P.
