Plot: Anuradha, a happy-go-lucky college girl, and her only brother, who is a doctor, go out for a walk on the sea shore. There they save Debabrata, a young man from drowning and bring him home for treatment. Anuradha falls in love with the young man and their marriage is arranged. However, on reaching her husband's house she discovers that he is a widower with a son, Nayan. She feels bitterly hurt but accepts the motherless child.
Bhanu, the sister-in-law of Anuradha does not like her and poisons the mind of Debabrata against Anuradha. Debabrata leaves the house with Nayan but on the way the child is stolen by a child-lifter.

Truth, sincerity, faith and tolerance on the part of Anuradha dispels the dark clouds and she is happy
and gets united with her family again.
